The Guys got the season off to a great start! We started with Univ. Cal Santa Barbara the #7 rated team in the country, we jumped ahead early but couldn`t hold the lead late and lost 3-4. The game was a pitchers dual, Griffin Moody kept it close by only giving up 5 hits and striking out 8 in 6 innings. Bryce Vaughn and Cameron Lucky lead the offense with 2 hits a piece. Game two the bats came alive as the Broncos pounded out 16 hits on the way to a 8-1 win over the Univ. of Wyoming. 6 Broncos had multi-hits, lead by Trevor Luckey`s 3-5 and Brandon Hernandez`s 3-4 performance. Carson Hansen shut down the Cowboys through 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits with 7 punchouts! Game 3 was another pitchers battle with Spencer Sylvester doing his part against the 17th ranked Oregon Ducks. Spencer threw the complete game giving up 3 runs on 6 hits and striking out 9 Ducks. We just couldn`t get that key hit in the close 2-3 defeat. Game 4 was another hit parade for the Broncos as we pounded out 12 hits in a 10-7 victory over the Northern Arizona Jacks. Bryce Vaughn (3-4), Keegan Cottrell (4-5) and Nick Goulter (3-3) lead the charge on offense. Jack Furry kept the Lumberjacks off balance with a very nice early season preformance. Great Job and GO BRONCOS!!!

The Broncos have a really great draw of teams in the Swing into Spring Tournament! 4 of the 5 teams we play were in their regional tournament, and all 5 teams had winning records. See the attached schedule for times and field locations. Hope to see you in Mesquite and GO BRONCOS!

The guys hit it out of the park on Valetines Day at the Idaho Food Bank! They donated their time helping those less fortunate in our community. The guys packaged 1650 pounds of Oatmeal into 2# packages and boxed them for shipment. Everyone was laughing, having a good time and coming closer as a team! Thanks to Jane for having us and thank you to the guys for helping me and several hundred folks have a little better day. GO BRONCOS!

Our player sign-up meeting for the 2020 Spring Season will be at the Rec. Center (2nd Floor Classroom) at 7:30 pm on Monday January 13th. All returning players will need to attend that night.
